Men’s Tan Check Tweed Three-Piece Suit – Made to Measure

£399.00

Style options

Classic single-breasted, or a more statement double-breasted front.

Notch is the classic lapel that works for everything. Peak is sharper, bolder and less common – ideal if you want more of a statement look.

Single-breasted is clean and versatile. Double-breasted gives more of a vintage, tailored feel and makes the waistcoat a real feature.

Most people choose no lapel for a versatile waistcoat. Adding a lapel makes it bolder and more jacket-like when you take the main jacket off.

Satin is cooler under a jacket. Full tweed looks best if you’ll be wearing the waistcoat on its own.

Upper body measurements

Measure around the fullest part of your chest/bust, with the tape level and snug but not digging in.

Measure around your natural waist – where your body naturally creases when you bend to the side.

Measure around the fullest part of your bum/hips, with the tape level all the way round.

Measure from the top of your shoulder (where a shoulder seam would sit) down to where you’d like the jacket cuff to end.

Lower body measurements

Measure around where you want the trouser waistband to sit – usually just above the hip bones.

Measure from the very top of the inside leg (right up in the crotch) down to where you’d like the trouser hem to sit on your shoe.

Height

Choose the band that’s closest to your height – we use this with your other measurements to balance the jacket and trouser proportions.

Anything else we should know? (optional)

If there’s anything unusual we should allow for – one shoulder higher, one arm longer, bigger thighs, previous tailoring you liked, etc. – pop it in here.

Description

Sunny tan tweed with a classic check, cut exactly to you.

Our men’s tan check tweed three-piece suit is fully made to measure. Instead of trying to squeeze into a standard size, you choose your style options, enter your key measurements, and we cut the suit to your body – chest, waist, bum, thighs, sleeve, inside leg, the lot.

The cloth is a warm tan tweed with a clean check pattern – relaxed, modern and perfect for rustic weddings, race days and smart weekends away.

The fabric

  • Warm tan tweed with a classic check

  • Easy, relaxed colour that still looks sharp in photos

  • Works brilliantly with white, cream or light blue shirts and tan or mid-brown shoes/boots

Style options – built into this made-to-measure suit

Because this is made to measure, you get proper control over the cut and details:

  • Jacket front style – classic single-breasted (as pictured) or a more statement double-breasted front

  • Jacket lapel style – timeless notch lapel, or a sharper peak lapel if you want more of a “tailored” look

  • Waistcoat front – single-breasted or double-breasted

  • Waistcoat lapel style – clean V-front with no lapel, or a lapel for a more jacket-style, dressier waistcoat

  • Waistcoat back – black satin (lighter and cooler under a jacket) or full tweed (best if you’ll be in shirtsleeves later)

All selected via dropdowns on the product page – no email ping-pong needed.

Fit & measurements – how made to measure works

Instead of guessing a size, you give us the measurements that actually matter. On the product page you’ll see clear dropdowns for:

  • Chest / bust

  • Waist (tummy area)

  • Bum / hips

  • Trouser waist

  • Jacket sleeve length

  • Inside leg

  • Height band

Each dropdown includes simple guidance (where to measure, what the ranges mean), so you don’t need to be a tailor. There’s also a notes box at the end for anything unusual – one shoulder higher, one arm longer, bigger thighs, previous tailoring you liked, etc.

We then use your measurements and style choices to cut your tan check tweed suit:

  • Clean, modern lines without going skin-tight

  • Enough room to move, sit, eat and dance comfortably

  • Proportions balanced to your height so jacket, waistcoat and trousers all look intentional

Made to Order vs Made to Measure

You can also offer a made-to-order tan check suit in standard sizes. That’s better for:

  • People happy in off-the-peg sizing

  • Buyers who just want standard sizes with a basic fit choice

This product is the Made to Measure version:

  • Built around your measurements, not a generic size chart

  • Extra styling control (double-breasted options, peak lapels, waistcoat lapels, waistcoat back fabric)

  • Best for anyone who struggles with standard sizes or wants the fit properly dialled in
