Choose your fit above: Slim fit sits closer through the jacket, waistcoat and trousers or skirt; Regular fit gives more room. Prefer a roomier fit? Contact us before ordering.

Choose the band that matches your height so the sleeves sit neatly on the wrist bone, not halfway down your hand.

Pick the band closest to your usual inside leg so the trousers sit cleanly on the shoe without puddling.

Satin is cooler under a jacket. Full tweed looks best if you’ll be wearing the waistcoat on its own.

Big check, big energy.

Our women’s brown large check tweed three-piece suit is made to order with separate jacket/waistcoat and bottom sizes, so you’re not trying to squeeze one half of your body into the other half’s size.

The cloth is a warm brown tweed with a bold, larger-scale check – proper heritage vibes, but cut in a modern, clean silhouette. It’s the kind of suit that looks unreal at barn weddings, race days and autumn events, and still works dressed down with a tee and trainers.

The fabric

  • Larger-scale check pattern – strong enough to make a statement, not shouty

  • Works with cream, black, white, tan and gold jewellery

Classic styling, made for you

Your three-piece suit includes a single-breasted jacket with notch lapels, a matching single-breasted waistcoat without lapels, and trousers or skirt. We keep the styling straightforward so you can concentrate on the cloth and fit.

Choose a black satin waistcoat back for a lighter layer under your jacket, or a full tweed back if you plan to wear the waistcoat on its own.

Choose trousers or a skirt in the Bottom Style selector. A skirt replaces the trousers; it is not an extra fourth piece. The current product photographs show the trouser version.

Your sizes and fit

This suit is Made to Order using standard sizes. Choose your jacket/waistcoat size separately from your trouser/skirt size. You do not need to choose the same size for both.

Slim fit sits closer to the body. Regular fit gives more room. Select your preferred fit as well as your sizes. If you need a roomier fit or are unsure which to choose, ask us before ordering.

Select your jacket sleeve length and trouser length, or enter your finished skirt length and its unit if you choose a skirt using the options above. There is an optional notes box for anything you would like us to know.

Made to Order or Made to Measure?

Both services make the suit for your order in the same classic style. Made to Order uses standard sizes with separate top and bottom choices. Made to Measure uses your individual measurements. Browse our women’s suit collection to compare the two services.

Before you order

Not quite sure about the colour or fit? Ask us about sizing or fabric samples before you order.
Care

Always follow the care label supplied with your suit. Do not machine-wash or tumble-dry unless the label expressly permits it. Store your jacket and waistcoat on suitable hangers. If you are unsure about cleaning, pressing or a particular mark, contact us before treating the fabric.
Made to Order or Made to Measure?

Both services make your suit for your order: a single-breasted jacket with notch lapels, a single-breasted waistcoat without lapels, and trousers or, for women, a skirt. Choose a black satin or full tweed waistcoat back.

Made to Order: choose standard jacket/waistcoat and bottom sizes separately, then your fit and length options.

Made to Measure: provide your individual measurements in inches or centimetres. Men can choose Slim or Regular fit; use the notes box for other fit preferences.
